FROELICH QUARTER HORSES

Dear Friends:

Welcome to our 38th annual production sale.  The five Froelich brothers, along with our mother, Barbara, and our nephew, Lance, our excited to again bring you a consistent group of foals with ‘disposition, color, & conformation ranch-raised in big country’.  For many of you who have visited our ranches over the years, you know that our cattle operations would be nothing without our smart, cowy horses to gather and work throughout the year.  In addition, many of you have joined us in ranch roping and have seen firsthand the dedication our horses give each task.  Whether it is pulling calves to the branding iron or taking an evening pleasure ride, Froelich horses are continually proving their versatility.  These are the exact reasons we continue the tradition our father, John J. Froelich, began when he bought his first Quarter Horse in 1948. 
Over the years we have had many questions about color and genetics from our prospective buyers.  This year we have invited Dr. Carrie Hammer, Director of Equine Studies at North Dakota State University to present a seminar title, “HOW COLOR COLTS ARE DETERMINED” Friday evening, September 19 at the Prairie Knights Casino banquet room with a social beginning at 6:00pm and a complimentary supper beginning at 6:30pm (RSVP Kelly at 701-422-3636 or email at froelich@westriv.com for the supper).   Please plan to join us as we gather together the night before the sale for plenty of horse talk and fun. 
Our goal is to provide sound, honest horses for your operation and riding enjoyment.  The foals will be haltered and all necessary vet work will be done by the ranch and Mandan Vet Clinic to get them to their new homes.  The mares and stallions will be available to view in their working attire sale day.  Come early and take a look!  If you have any questions about the horses or sale, please feel free to call or email us.
